The #1 UK Dancehall & Reggae artist Gappy Ranks has a home with Greensleeves Records and Publishing

The extraordinary Gappy Ranks is now a part of Greensleeves Records. Gappy has worked with numerous producers and artists in the UK, Asia, United States and Jamaica. His most recent Hit “Heaven In Her Eyes” appeared on VP Records Strictly The Best Vol. 40 and on Greensleeves Records 2009 The Biggest Reggae One-Drop Anthems. He received the 2009 Crystal Blue Best Artist Of The Year Award and the 2009 Crystal Blue Best Recording Of The Year Award for “Heaven In Her Eyes.” His first album,“Breakfast in Jamaica “ will be released on March 9th in Europe on Greensleeves Records. The album will include “Stinkin rich which is currently on the UK Reggas charts, his hit song “Heaven in her eyes” which has been number one for 22 weeks on the UK reggae charts, “Thanks & praises”, “Butterflies“, “So god bless”“Rise out of the ghetto” and features tracks with  Spice & Million Stylez & production from Peckings Records, Jazzwad, Macro Marco, Russian, Special Delivery.

Gappy Ranks discovered his passion for music at a young age. While attending school, he   strengthened his musical skills devoting most of his time to writing; that is what built the foundation upon which Gappy Ranks stands on today. Gappy Ranks strong Caribbean roots are evident in his music. Early on in his pursuit to break into the music business, he promoted his music in the heart of Harlesden, an inner-city town unofficially known as London’s reggae capital. Gappy later joined a group called Suncycle, this experience helped him develop his understanding of the music business and the building of his musical repertoire. In 2005 Gappy Ranks decided to pursue a solo career.
