Unfortunately, it's a tough job to keep a Reggae based publication alive with
the lack of advertising dollars available. Not only that, but there are many
unscrupulous folks that grab info from sites like this and even published
magazines, re-package them and publish them as their own. But there are a few
publications that have managed to keep the struggle moving forward and others that
have incorporated Reggae into the mix.

CINCINNATI CITY BEAT™ Based in Cleveland- Ohio, this weekly print
publication will spotlight Reggae when there are artists coming to town for
stage shows. You can visit their website for all the musical happenings (in

GARGAMEL MAGAZINE™ Based in the UK, and published by Melissa
Sinclair/Campro Entertainment, this urban music publication highlights Reggae.
Several Reggae artists have graced the covers; Marcia Griffiths, Buju Banton,
Luciano, Shaggy and more. Even though it's located in London, you can

IN THE HOUSE™ Get this, many have been aware or felt that Reggae was
popular in Spanish communities - this magazine is a testament to that. (Someone hit
up Power 106 in LA and tell them!). Based in Puerto Rico - you heard right, Puerto
Rico, this magazine; In The House covers Urban music including Reggae. A very
clean, high glossy printed magazine, the photos are criss and the content is in

KUBERA™ Recognizing that Dancehall often gets excluded from Urban
Magazines, Kubera started out with a vision to change that! The first issue was a
well put together, high quality and high glossy publication. The premiere issue

Times' family) out of Miami incorporates Reggae in the mix. How could it not?
After all, Miami is one of the largest Reggae markets in the states. At least once
a month you can catch an interview with a Reggae aritst or even a musical review.

the word on all that's Urban and hot!!! This new issue with LL Cool J (damn
he's mad sexy) contains the monthly Dancehall News column "From Da
Yard" in snippets. Be sure to check it out in print here! (We gotta tell all
the club and mixshow DJ's on what's coming out for Dancehall!) There's
